The engraving today

Sometimes it is necessary to give to a valuable object, that touch of exclusivity and elegance that makes it unique.

It is therefore fundamental that this process is carried out with particular attention and dedication, because the final result must not compromise the work of all those who have contributed to the realization of the object itself.

Many times, while I’m working, I think that a hundred and even more years ago, with the same tools and the same utensils, the artisans used their hands with great passion to obtain from steel those special effects that make a handmade engraving a unique masterpiece.

Considering that our engravings are made entirely by hand, from the study of the object to be engraved until the choice of style and layout in accordance with the customer’s taste, we can say that the final result of all our works is unique and unrepeatable.

The rifle is an object designed and manufactured with passion and care, that must serve a specific purpose: hit the target and, both while hunting and shooting, give satisfaction to those who hold it. The primary goal of an engraver is to improve the aesthetics and make less visible the assembly between the essential mechanical parts in the construction of a weapon. The new processing techniques have allowed the most attentive and qualified producers to make rifles that which are best suited to be engraved in the most creatively and innovatively way, thus giving the engraver better spaces to express that artistic vein that distinguishes this profession.

Therefore, we believe that engraving a weapon is something more complicated than realizing a picture painting. In a period in which, for the manufacturers of sporting and hunting weapons, it is fundamental and strategic to invest in new technologies and increasingly advanced machinery, we are sure that completing this production cycle with a process carried out by hand certainly gives to the final product that sense of ancient demanded by many, at least for that part of the arms industry where it is essential to maintain close contact with traditions.
